Today, we'd like to share an engagement story with a flimsy ring in the background. The story of Piotrek ( @pe.droz ) and Aneta's ( @itsanett ) relationship is quite heated, and it's all because of a New Year's Eve fire in Białystok (don't worry, no one was hurt!). Aneta and Piotr spent the night together, even though they each had different plans. A fire broke out in the building where Aneta was supposed to be celebrating her New Year's Eve ball just before the party began.
And so Aneta and Piotrek ended up at a house party together, where their paths crossed! Although it wasn't easy, Piotrek got Aneta's phone number, but he got the last two digits mixed up and couldn't reach her on New Year's morning. As usual, friends came to the rescue, and thanks to a shared Messenger conversation, Piotrek was able to find Aneta. They were both hooked! Piotrek even moved from Białystok to Warsaw, where his beloved lived.
Their shared dream was to walk the James' Way to Santiago de Compostela. Piotrek had a plan in his head to walk the Camino together and get engaged by the ocean. In July of that year, he fulfilled his plan, and Aneta said: "YES, in the most beautiful setting!" Since then, Aneta has been wearing the giddy Luna with a silver-gray diamond on her finger and is happily engaged to Piotr.
