Cliff Engagement: Luna Ring and Sunrise
An unforgettable marriage proposal in Kashubia
Today we have Karolina and Kuba's engagement story for you. Karolina wrote a few words describing this lovely event! We went on vacation to Kashubia to celebrate the defense of my bachelor's degree. It was a very short trip, only three days, but it definitely provided us with a wealth of experiences and emotions. On the second day, I received a long-awaited gift from Kuba. This gift was a beautiful ring with a heart-shaped pendant, which, as it later turned out, was intended to mislead me into thinking I'd be receiving an engagement ring the next day. However, Kuba announced that this wasn't the only gift and that the second part of the surprise would be the following day. I learned that we had to wake up at 2 a.m. to be at the designated location for sunrise. I guessed we were going to the seaside, but I had no idea what was in store.

Unfortunately, the weather wasn't kind to us; it rained like crazy all day and evening. At 2 a.m., the alarm went off, but neither of us heard it. Kuba woke up a little after 3 a.m. and nervously started waking me up. I put on my sweatpants, put on my wellies, and got in the car. I slept the entire way, and Kuba bravely drove us to our destination. I woke up in Gdynia, in a parking lot, right next to the Orłowski Cliff. I'd been to the Tri-City area so many times, but I'd never been to this place. I'd always wanted to go there, and Kuba knew it well. We got out of the car and climbed the cliff. From the distance, I saw a man standing at the top. I was surprised, because it was 5 a.m., but he had a camera in his hand, so I thought he was probably taking photos for his portfolio. We stood on the cliff, admiring the view, and I saw Kuba take something out of his pocket. That was the moment my heart skipped a beat and I thought, "Oh my gosh, this is it." A moment later, Kuba got down on one knee, told me he loved me very much, and asked if I would be his wife. Of course, the answer was "yes." There was also a funny thing about the photographer. My first thought, right after saying "yes," was for him to take our photos. However, I didn't realize that he had been waiting there especially for us and perfectly captured the moment.
Congratulations! Kuba chose a LUNA ring for Karolina, but asked for the stone to be changed to a light pink sapphire. If you'd like to find our newlyweds on social media, Karolina is a wedding planner, and Kuba runs a horse stable.
